The 8th Annual Thousand Oaks Arts Festival will take place on September 17 and 18, 2011 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza and The Lakes from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

2011 HONORARY CHAIR
The Thousand Oaks Arts Festival is pleased to announce that acclaimed marine life artist Wyland will serve as the Festival's 2011 Honorary Chair. Wyland has earned the distinction as one of America’s most unique creative influences and a leading advocate for marine resource conservation.

2011 Highlights
The Thousand Oaks Arts Festival has become the premier outdoor exhibition of year for fine artisans working in and around the Conejo Valley. To view the 2011 artists an their booth numbers, click on ARTISTS.

WYLAND, the Festival's 2011 Honorary Chair will be in Booth D at the Civic Arts Plaza from 12:00 Noon to 2 PM on Saturday, September 17 with an interview on the Main Stage with Festival Co-Chairs at 12:15 - 12:35 PM.

Live art demonstrations by BiJian Fan on Saturday and Sunday starting at 11 AM at The Lakes. In addition, BiJian's sculpture, "Yoga Pose", is featured as one of the items offered in the 2011 RAFFLE.

Wyland (above) is an accomplished painter, sculptor, underwater explorer, photographer, filmmaker, and educator, he has traveled the farthest reaches of the globe for more than thirty years, capturing the raw power and beauty of the aquatic universe.

2011 Visual Artists
Famed golf artist, Scott Medlock, the Festival's 2010 Honorary Chair, will be among those exhibiting both days at the eighth annual Thousand Oaks Arts Festival.

A native of Southern California, Mr. Medlock is one of America's foremost artists in the sports world. His paintings capture the human emotion involved in the great sporting moments of our time.
